Amanda Hocking is an indie publishing sensation whose self-published novels have sold millions of copies all over the world.  Step into the world of the Trylle, and prepare to be enchanted….

When Wendy Everly first discovers the truth about herself—that she’s a changeling switched at birth—she knows her life will never be the same. Now she’s about to learn that there’s more to the story…

She shares a closer connection to her Vittra rivals than she ever imagined—and they’ll stop at nothing to lure her to their side. With the threat of war looming, her only hope of saving the Trylle is to master her magical powers—and marry an equally powerful royal. But that means walking away from Finn, her handsome bodyguard who’s strictly off limits…and Loki, a Vittra prince with whom she shares a growing attraction.

Torn between her heart and her people, between love and duty, Wendy must decide her fate. If she makes the wrong choice, she could lose everything, and everybody, she’s ever wanted…in both worlds.

This is the second book of the Trylle Trilogy and it continues Wendy’s struggles with being a troll princess and the duties that come with it.  Several things come out in this book, some I figured out, others were a surprise.  I like Wendy even more in this book than the first, though sometimes she can still be a bit immature.  I also like Tove and Loki (I already liked Tove, but even more now; he is just so loyal).  I am not quite sure why Wendy still has feelings for Finn, but I guess you can’t really help who you fall for, right?  We get introduced to some new characters who are from the Vittra, and their king is definitely one for my dislike list.  He is horrible! Musing Mondays (16)

Musing Mondays is a weekly meme hosted by MizB at Should Be Reading.  Each week we will get a fun reading related question to answer.  This week Musing asks:

Have you ever reread a book and found that your opinion changed?

I have not reread any books, so I can’t say this has happened.  I have so many books I need and want to read that I really don’t have time to reread!  But I can say that sometimes I have thought about a book over a period of time, and even long after I have finished the book, my opinion on it may have shifted a tad.  Sometimes I forget what it was that really bugged me or small things I didn’t like, and the good parts with be what I really remember.  But this is the only way any of it may change, if it does at all.
