Bloggiesta Wrap-up!

Today was the final day of the weekend bloggiesta, and though I didn’t get through my entire list of things to do I did get a bunch of stuff done.

What all did I accomplish?

1. Review Archive page
2. Posted all my reviews on Amazon
3. Created a Pinterest for my blog and pinned all of my reviews
4. Did some posting
5. Visited some new blogs, followed and added them to my Awesome Blogs I Follow page
6. Updated blog buttons for the blogs I follow
7. And of course some reading!

I didn’t get a chance to get to formatting all of my older posts, but I can get to that later on, but I still got plenty done!  Hope everybody’s bloggiesta was very productive and fun!

Sometimes Franky Pierson has a hard time dealing with life. Like when her parents separate and her mother vanishes, Franky wants to believe that her mom has simply pulled a disappearing act. Yet deep within herself, a secret part of her she calls Freaky Green Eyes knows that something is terribly wrong. And only Freaky can open Franky’s eyes to the truth.

I thought this book sounded really interesting from the synopsis.  Alter ego? Missing parent? Sounds like a good story set up.  Unfortunately, I was fooled.  I really didn’t care for this book, even from disc 1, but I kept on trucking.

This is actually part 2 of Bloggiesta and it is from September 28-30.  The first one was in March and I missed out on it since I didn’t know about it! 1. Format old posts to look like my current ones.
2. Post my reviews to Amazon (I already post on Goodreads and LibraryThing).
3. Read and reviews of course.
4. Make a Review Archive page.
5. Make new blogger friends.
6. Find new blogs and add them to my Awesome Blogs I Follow Page.
7. Schedule future posts and check off old posts from my blog journal (yes I have a journal for my blog).
8. Possibly start attaching book recommendations or if you like this book suggestions on review posts.
9. Set up my bookie Pinterest.

Okay, so I have a nice long list.  We will see what all I can get done over the weekend!

Do you have any hobbies outside of reading? Or do you collect anything?

Hmm….I probably have way too many hobbies to keep up with.  Aside from reading, writing and blogging, I also like cross-stitch, photography, genealogy, and scrapbooking.  I am a mild bit of a hoarder, so I try not to go too crazy on collecting things.  When I was younger, I used to collect the TY beanie babies, and I still have them all.  Of course I have a huge collection of books, and since I like to write a lot, I have a ton of pens and journals.  I also collect snowglobes for places I have been (not the cheapy plastic ones, but the actual glass ones), X-Men comics, manga series, Tinkerbell stuff (my boyfriend’s nickname for me is Tinkerbell), foreign coins when I can get them, and toe socks!  I love toe socks!  I was a bit disappointed last year since I couldn’t really find any toe socks.  That is everything that I can think of at  the moment!
